I offer one-on-one math help for middle through high school math subjects and test preparation tutoring for the SAT, ACT, and HSPT. I am a very patient and focused tutor who enjoys helping students make sense of math.
Every student’s learning situation and needs for math is different, however any student can be successful in math given the proper support. In order to meet the needs of each of my students, I use different mnemonic devices, visualizations of concepts, technological tools and resources, and varying levels of support and scaffolding.
Communication is key. From the start of tutoring, I will sit down with you to create a plan, and throughout the process I will provide consistent feedback during lessons and regular progress check-ins for long term clients.
Gr. 8-12 Math Tutoring: $40/hr
SAT/ACT/HSPT Prep: $50/hr
Primarily online through Zoom.
In-person option for clients in the New Tampa area in Tampa, FL.

About Me:
I have 5+ years experience tutoring both online and in-person. I have a Bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of South Florida. I started my career tutoring working in a local tutoring center where I focused on standardized test prep for the SAT, ACT, and HSPT. I have helped many students over the years reach their scholarship or college admission goal scores. I’ve also helped students raise their grades and get back on track (or ahead) in class. Working with students one-on-one and seeing their growth and progress is what keeps me tutoring!
